Santa!

Colt had his first visit with Santa...We only had to wait 3 hours, no big deal :) It was important for me to have his picture made with THIS certain Santa because I had my picture made with him when I was 4 and so did Blake! The SAME Santa...he must be old. HA!

Blake and his brother with Santa...

Precious Colt and Santa (he has a much better set up than he did 20 years ago...don't ya think?)Even though the wait was long, we had Gertie, Poppy, Yaya, Doodad, Aunt Haley, Me and Blake to entertain eachother!

HO HO HO!

This is too funny...

You might have gotten this in an email like I did, but if not...make sure to read the story at the bottom... "Good news is that I truly out did myself this year with my Christmas decorations. The bad news is that I had to take him down after 2 days. I had more people come screaming up to my house than ever. Great stories. But two things made me take it down: First, the cops advised me that it would cause traffic accidents as they almost wrecked when they drove by. Second, a 55 year old lady grabbed the 75 pound ladder and almost killed herself putting it against my house and didn't realize it was a fake man until she climbed to the top (she was not happy). By the way, she was one of many people who attempted to do that. My yard couldn't take it either. I have more than a few tire tracks where people literally drove up into my yard."

Christmas Party numero uno!

The tacky Christmas sweater party was an absolute success. I have to give big props to the hostess, Krista, for all her hard work! She made EVERYTHING from scratch and it tasted wonderful! She is definitely the next Rachel Ray
2009's Tacky Christmas Sweater first place winners are...Yours truly!!!!! Blake won too!! I guess if I have to share my title I'm glad its with him :)

I didn't realize how many "nice rack" comments I was going to get! HA!

It even held my plate...go figure!

Half of the gang...

Friends since 5th grade! (big shout out to Jenny, on the left! I didn't know she read my blog until Saturday. Love you Jen!)

My Aims! Isn't her poinsetta precious?!

The boys decided to join us after the UT game!

Good times had by all! Can't wait for next year!

Sunday, we had our Christmas card pics taken. Most of them were not good (of me) and most of them had to be cropped because somebody thought neon green panties were a good choice with a short black dress. (I dont know who that could be). This isn't the picture because Colt isn't looking, but its a sample...Merry Christmas y'all!!

Brrrrrr....

*First off, thank you thank you thank you for your input/votes for the frog cake. Now you'll just have to wait 7 more weeks to find out which one I chose* :)

It's cold here y'all!!!!!! I'm kind of liking it :) Too bad Colt-T and I were still asleep through the snow, but everybody told us about it. HA! That didn't stop us from meeting our weekly lunch buddy and one of my bff's since JH at Chili's for some yummy chicken enchilada soup and molten chocolate cake!!! Krista loves her some little C! He did all of his tricks for her...when she asked "what does Santa say?" he replied "ho ho ho." When she asked him, "Where's your head?" he touched his head. When she asked him, "Where's your tummy?" he touched his tummy. When she asked him, "What does a cow say/sheep say?" He said, "mmmmmmm" and "ahhhhhhh." He blew out the imaginary candle for her and he even said "dithy"(dixie) when he saw a picture of her on my phone!!! We both looked at eachother in amazement and thought "did you hear what I heard?!!" We love our lunches with Krista and always look forward to seeing her during her lunch break!

Saturday, Krista is hosting a tacky Christmas sweater party. This will be my first one and I'm pretty sure I have the tackiest, goofiest, most clever homemade sweatshirt you ever did see! I may even have to post a picture on here before we head to the party just to give you a laugh! Can't wait!

Thanksgiving and such...

Christmas Decor went up the week before Thanksgiving...Our bobcat does have on Dixie's Santa hat...Dixie told me thank you. ...Did you notice I finished Colt's stocking?!! Only took me 7 hours of sewing by hand...no big deal :)

...Thanks to my mom for her amazing bow making skills for which I could not have a pretty tree

...Hubby poo left the Sunday before Thanksgiving (to go hunting) and drove in on Thanksgiving day to be with us and then Colt and I drove back to the ranch with him to spend Friday and Saturday as a fam!

Obviously, Colt and I packed our life and got to spend 4 days with my mom(dad was hunting too). We had a great time and she even let Colt open two of his presents early! He got a stuffed reigndeer and super cute Christmas socks that say "little elf" on the bottom. Thanks Yaya!

Colt had a wonderful time looking at the fire place saying, "hah" (hot) and blowing trying to blow it out.Does anybody else love REAL whipping/heavy whip as much as I do?!!!!! I seriously got a giant cooking spoon and ate spoonfuls with not even a bite of pie to go with it! I love Thanksgiving...or better yet...I love food!

My little fam...Our little Turkey...Yaya and her favoritist grandson

While I was gone for a week...I did lots of online shopping! I have now become addicted. I am now waiting for lots of Christmas presents to come to my front door. Don't worry babe...they aren't for me.

I hope everybody had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

P.S. Colt's newest trick is saying, "ho ho" when he sees Santa or when asked what does Santa say? Who knew he'd already be a little sponge at 10 months old?! Smarty pants :)
