Just a little teaser...

I seriously had to check my blog site to see what the heck I last blogged about. To be exact, I have not blogged for a whole month and 2 days!! The last thing I wrote about was Amy's bachelorette party and as of now it is 2 days before her beach wedding. Amy, Krista, Blair and I made an 11 hour drive to Destin, FL yesterday to soak up all the fun festivities before the big day SATURDAY!

This is my favorite activity EVER......ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I have so many things to catch up. To help me not feel so overwhelmed, here is a list of things that have happened in the past month and will be posted about soon after I get back!!

I'm going to leave you with a picture of me from my first birthday. I think Colt looks like me...alot. nobody thinks so :( I know he looks like his daddy, but his hair is DEF from me...and so is his precious little mouth and nose...what do yall think?

So... last Friday, me and my girl frans loaded up Krista's Tahoe and headed out to Austin for Amy's bachelorette party!!!

We started out with a stop at Taco Bueno...Krista had the bright idea to order nacho's. Not so much car friendly and I took this picture as evidence to what REALLY happened if our trip were to get us to heaven instead of Austin :) Hands at 10 and 2 on the way to Destin for the wedding...ok Krista?!!!!

We arrived at the Hilton down town Austin around 7, showered and got ready for night #1!

Saturday morning we went to the coolest place on the lake for a nice and healthy stuffed fried avacado!

Saturday night, the rest of the girls met us at our hotel room for Amy's lingerie shower.

Amy and I have been friends since we were 10 years old! Cheered together for 6 years! Love you Aims! Some of us girls helping Amy complete her bachelorette "to do" list.

As Krista and I headed back to the hotel room we saw the creepiest "scream" character in the middle of the street! It was a real person...freaked me out!

We woke up Sunday morning...ate the millionth Mexican food meal of the weekend and headed home, but not without a gas station stop full of candy purchases! We totally did a self timer photo...success at 70MPH. Totally safe, but don't try this at home!

FUN weekend!! Yay weddings!

While I was away, Blake was in Paris, Tx shooting in a bow tournament. He and his brother made it to the Tx vs Ok shootout infront of 300 people! Colt went with his Gertie and Poppy to watch them since I couldn't make it :(

It's lake season!!

We spent Easter weekend at the lakehouse. Colt spends his time up there riding the "uden uden's" with whoever will take him. At least 6 times a day!

Saturday, Lanna had her first bridal shower! Their wedding is only 8 weeks away and I'm so excited to have a sister in law. I've never had one of those before :) Love you Lanna! a few of the goods...

Tuesday was a BEAUTIFUL day!!!!! It was in the mid 70's and so pretty! Colt and I met Roxanne and precious Avery at the Arboretum and it could not have been more perfect.

Roxanne and I have mutual friends and I have only gotten to know her through her blog and vise versa...so this was our first official face to face meeting/playdate! It was a blast and I hope to do it often! Her 1o month old daughter, Avery, is the most precious thing EVER! She has the most beautiful blue eyes and is so sweet! She waved "hi" to everybody and loved hugging on Colt :)

The kids loved loved the petting zoo, strolling around, reading and having lunch on the lawn and Rox and I even got a little sun :) (or alot, my shoulders are burned but I'm not complaining...lets face it, I needed it!)

Avery was so cute! She kept running down the hill and falling...she would just lie there for a few seconds as if she was saying "hurry, quick, take my picture I'm so cute! how could we resist?

Colt had another milestone...he gave his first kiss ever!!! to AVERY!! Normally if you ask him to give you a kiss he'll give you his cheek. I asked him to kiss Avery and he puckered up and went in for the kill. It was soooooo cute!!

******This weekend, I'm headed to Austin for my BFF, since JH's, bach party!...I've NEVER been there before. Let me repeat, NEVER have I been to Austin. I'm super excited and can't wait to spend the weekend with my precious friends from highschool!!
