We had such a big day that I didn't even take him out of his PJ's this morning! He slept until 10:15am, I changed him, fed him, and in the carseat he went for another outing. We met Amy for lunch, drove to uptown for my first experience at Luke's Locker...I have been in dire need of some new tennis shoes. Normally, I would see a tennis shoe and say, "that one is cute, I'll get that one." Now I know better! I could no longer stand the blisters and discomfort. At Luke's, they do a foot assessment and decide which shoes are best for your foot according to its size and what you need them for. Based on that, they bring you a few pairs to choose from. I chose the asics. Very comfortable and I can't wait to try them out! After an hour of that, I then ventured over to Mom and Dads house to drop of Colt and get ready for Haley's birthday eve dinner with she and her friends. (look at me Meredith...I'm a poster child for Stella & Dot...I totally accept your offer to crop me from this picture and frame it for your parties! I kid I kid :) But I do LOVE the jewelry!
While Colt was being loved on by his Yaya and Doodad, Blake went to another bow shoot. I need to elaborate more on Blake and his bow shooting tournaments etc...but that will be left for another post. Anyways, dinner was great and I stuck to my healthy guns and ordered a salad with shrimp instead of the chicken quesadillas that kept calling my name!Tomorrow we will celebrate Haley's 28th birthday at my parents house so look forward to a post about that! I also bought "bumpits" and will blog about that soon as well. LOVE!

We are now awaiting Blake's arrival home from the grocery store so we can cook dinner and watch all of our shows!! YAY!
Thursday & Friday night, Colt had a slumber party at Yaya's house. I had to get ready for my jewelry party that I was hosting for a friend on Saturday. Friday, Haley went to mom's to see Colt and take him the outfit she bought him to wear on Easter. It was a onesie that said, "Baby's First Easter" with pants that matched complete with bunny heads as the feet! It was precious. As I'm driving to Dallas to meet mom and Haley I get this email..."Look, I'm the Easter Bunny...I needed ears to complete the look so Yaya and Aunt Hadey attached cotton balls to my head with karo syrup."

Thanks Yaya, Doodad, Gertie & Poppy for all of the fun Easter presents. Next year he will be so much fun hunting eggs! can't wait!
Tomorrow is Good Friday. Lets remember the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior. I hope everybody is having a great week and enjoys their day off tomorrow! Love!
This past weekend Mom, Colt and I took a short road trip to Sugarland to see some friends. Colt is a great travelor and napped the whole time we were in the car. Good boy! We stayed with the Wrights, had a great lunch and got to catch up a bit before we headed to my friend Meredith's Stella & Dot jewelry launch party. I'm so glad we went. It is a great jewelry line and makes me want to become a stylist as well... I'm still looking into it, but as far as I can tell, it would be great fun! I didn't take not ONE picture this weekend. Shame on me!!
