I cannot even begin to explain how exhausted I am at this moment. I should be in bed, but Mommy duty calls and so does the blog world :) People ALWAYS ask why I blog. Some think I'm crazy for putting my life on the record, on the web, and in writing for all the world to see. Some think its the best idea ever and read everyday. I blog because....1) Its almost like therapy. I can vent, I can be happy and I can be mad and upset and feel that others will relate without judgement. 2) Its a way of journaling that I will save and look back on one day. 3) Its a way for family and friends to keep up with me that I may not see or speak to on a regular basis. 4) I like it!!!! I am an avid blog reader and I even read blogs of other's that I don't even know. I like to pray for them, jump for joy with them when their children reach milestones and sleep all night, sympathize with them when they've had a bad day or life just isn't going as they'd like, cry when they've lost a pet, be incredibly jealous of their exotic vacations, get excited about their wedding planning or upcoming arrival of their first baby. And the list goes on and on...I enjoy their lives as if I was right there with them experiencing it. Does that answer the question?! :)
MEMORIAL WEEKEND!!!!!
This weekend was great. We got to the lakehouse on Thursday. Spent Friday just relaxing and enjoying family. Saturday was beautiful. We went out on the boat for a great cruise and got some much needed sun. Saturday was also Blake's brothers 23rd birthday. So shout out to Jake and Happy Birthday brudder!!!! Sunday, it rained and I LOVE when it rains up at the lake...just another excuse to not leave the porch :)
This is Jake showing me on his fingers how old he is....they were working on the fish fry!

Sweet Esmeralda and her hillarious "knocked up" shirt
My precious husband and my angel baby hanging out on the boat.
Blake is also a fishing guide in his spare time. Here he is in one of his favorite elements.
Brace yourself....and enter at your own risk on this one...just a hilarious shot of Colt after lunch and something most would not like documented! HAHA
Colt saying "I'm loving my swimsuit, lets go out on the boat"
My precious dog! Love her to pieces!

Today we drove straight from the lake to my Parent's house for their memorial day party. My Mom always throws such a great get together and I love spending time with my family. My cousin Jason is going off to Iraq...again...and we celebrated him and his service today. Thank you Jason for serving our country. We love you and we will see you soon...BTW, you might want to take a long a book about how to beat Abby in ping pong. It would be of good use to you for future matches :)
My reason for living
Aunt Kim and Colt T bear

My partner in crime... The best sissy face on the planet!
We got home around 7pm and our neighbor was having a party. So of course we didn't really unpack the car and off we went 2 doors down. I LOVE summers because everyone seems to come out of hiding, have cookouts and be more social. It may just be because its day light longer and warmer...Either way, I love it! We got home super late. Colt got his bath and is dead asleep. He has been held and kissed all day! I hope he doesn't have nightmares of old ladies pinching his cheeks. I kid I kid...he only dreams about bottles :)
Tomorrow is Colt's 4 month appointment...Boo for shots, but YAY for knowing how much he weighs and HOPING he is longer than he was last time!
After one whole week of trying to get a hair appt, I FINALLY got one on Wednesday. I'm not doing anything drastic...sorry ppl who want me to cut it off... I just won't do it. I''ll probably go for shorter bangs, 1cm off of the length NO MORE :) and a few layers...BORING...I know, but I'm a creature of habit and my hubby likes long hair.
Sunday is our baby dedication at church. I'm so excited! I'm so grateful for my child and feel so undeserving of such a great blessing. I want him to grow up knowing he is a child of God and I will do everything in my power to ensure his salvation of eternally living with Christ forever. Can I get an AMEN?!
I hope everybody had a wonderful and safe Memorial Day! Please keep all the soldiers and their families in your prayers.
Update coming tomorrow of Colt's appointment!!
XOXOXO...The Krecks
