Weekend Wrap-up!

Last week, I was on a mission to get a baby walker. My only specifications were that it have a play tray and that was pretty much it. So what I found was GREAT. Especially because it was the cheapest one...being $35...AND I had $10 off! So yay for that! Toys R Us, you are awesome! Colt LOVES it. He can only go in reverse, but thats ok for now :) I put his barn animals and rattle on the tray and he goes to town trying to reach for them. I know you are loving Colt's outfit/hat in the above picture. So here is the full outfit he had on that day...You would think he was going hunting, but instead he was going to the lake.
A few times a week I drop Colt off at the school where Mom & Tammy work and they'll take him home for the evening while I do some much needed housework or workout etc...Mom took him this particular time. I was loading up his things and putting the carseat base in her car when I see this...Mom pulling a "Britney Spears," but without actually driving of course :) He seemed to be interested in eating the steering wheel. So cute!Thursday, Gertie and Poppy took Colt to the lakehouse and Blake and I joined them Friday. The lake is REAL high right now. Blake had to launch his fishing boat basically in the front yard. Here is the boathouse where the ski boat is...we'd need a boat to get there

Somebody at the marina rigged this contraption here....you have to pull yourself over by a rope to get to the boat houses...Notice, Dixie swimming beside it. She thinks she should be where Blake is at all times

Colt taking a nap on the front porch. Loving the weather and viewColt took his FIRST boat ride! He loved it.

Driving with Daddy

As I pulled into the garage this evening...I started to unload my car and noticed that it is PACKED with all kinds of stuff. I wanted to document what my car looks like when Colt and I go somewhere for the weekend. So I got the camera out! My stuff goes in the passenger seat. Bag on the floor, shoes and purse in the seat...Oh ya, and Dixie sits up there too
This view is behind the driver's seat. Colt sits where I'm taking the picture from and here is all his "stuff." I want to tell you where the burberry bag on the left has been. I got that from Blake for HS graduation. It has served as a travel carry on, college back pack, purse, lap top bag, over night bag, and now a second baby bag! It has been 6 years and that bag has served me well! Thanks babe! I always pack an "extra" stash of diapers, wipes, burp cloths, bibs, clothes, socks etc...so that goes in this box! I ran out of bags :)Last, but not least...the back end. I always have the stroller with me, but when we go overnight anywhere...the swing comes too! I wag it everywhere in one piece. It is as essential as bottles and diapers if you ask me. My son is so intelligent that he requires social interaction at all times. AKA...hold me or die! :) The swing allows us to put him down and get things done! Thank you Graco! Are you loving the tailgate?! It is so wonderful when grocery shopping and when you open up the back end things don't fall out. It also makes a nice changing table when out and about :) My, how things have changed!

I forgot to mention the fish fry we had today! It was at Blake's Aunt & Uncle's house. It was so great to see everybody and we even had an egg toss! I'm pretty sure I'll be adding that activity to every get together I have. It was super fun! Sonya and I were the first team out...I guess I should practice.

My sweet friend/old coworker/cousin in law... is preggers!!! I'm so excited! She is 4 months and I'm loving the belly! I can't wait until baby Stidham arrives!

I am highly anticipating the season finale of American Idol!! Kris is by far my favorite so I will be voting 100 times!

Until next time... xoxoxoxo, The Krecks
