....that is Kelly's Korner topic for today
I'm a stay at home mom to little Colt. Our days are pretty different with shopping trips, grocery store trips, play dates, lunch dates and even some days spent at home. His days are never the same, his naps are never at the same time and I love it. I'm so glad I decided to make him acclimate to my life instead of the other way around. If we stay at home, this is what our day looks like...
Colt wakes up between 9:30-10:30am...so do I.
We eat breakfast together (could be oatmeal, waffles, pancakes, eggs, egg and cheese sandwiches, cinnamon toast, and if we are on the run...a nutrigrain bar)
Then...we either go somewhere or stay at home and play. The TV is turned to Price is Right and then whatever is on Fox Family...probably Full House :) I STILL love that show. I clean, fold laundry etc...Colt follows me around and/or plays peek a boo with my clean socks in the laundry. We read read read read read about a million books, we are working on learning the alphabet, counting and colors, we call Yaya to say hi, we play with our puppy Dixie, we practice walking and I give him lots of kisses.
Depending on if we are home, Colt will take a nap about 2.5-3 hours after he wakes up and sleep for about 2 hours. So if he wakes up at 9:30, he will nap from about 12-2:30pm. During his nap, I either clean, eat lunch, workout at the house, watch TV, work on projects or sometimes I even take a nap too.
After he gets up from his first nap, I feed him lunch and then we either play or go somewhere.
Depending on how sleepy he is and what we are doing he may say "nigh nigh" and take another nap. If not, he would eat dinner, bathe, play and go to bed anywhere between 7:30-10pm depending on where we are.
After C goes down for the night, I'll hang out with Blake, I may go to the gym, head to a friends house to have girls night in, or just watch my shows.
I normally fall asleep about 12am
We have Colt being very flexible and it makes life so easy and fun. Our life is exactly the same as it was pre-baby...just better and Colt gets to join us in everything we do.
What is your day like?

Hello from over at Kellys Blog! Your blog is so cute! Hands down to you for being a stay at home mom, I know that when I have kids I want to be a stay at home mom too! Thanks for sharing, Happy Friday!!!
Visiting from Kelly's. I'm a SAHM of 4, soon to be 5, kids. You are so smart to teach your son to adapt to your schedule instead of vice versa. That's a lesson I wish I had learned with my first. I finally got with the program with the 4th and he is the easiest, most adaptable child. Hoping the 5th one will be the same way...who am I kidding, he/she will have to be adaptable in this family LOL!
Oh your day sounds such fun! Your family is adorable!
