Weight Watchers & Colt update

Due to the repeated questions on how I'm losing the baby weight and what I'm eating...I figured I'd share it with everybody. Ever since January of 2005, I have done weight watchers and counted points ever since! There has never been a day that I didn't count EVERY SINGLE point eaten, even when I definitely counted all the way up to 80!! and sometimes more. Compared to the 20 that I'm allowed...80 is equivilent to 4 days worth of food! FOUR DAYS people!! I'm back to stopping at 20 and if I'm not hungry...sometimes I don't even count that high. I have never joined weight watchers nor have I been to a meeting. I taught myself how to count points and have a website that I'm devoted to for back up.(http://www.dwlz.com/) After a litte over 4 years of WW...I'd say I have the hang of it. As for my diet, my favorite foods are..

Smart One's Breakfast Quesadillas = 4 points







Slim Fast = 3 points

Coffee Singles= NO points

Smart Ones Chicken & Cheese Quesadillas = 4 points


100 Cal Pack of chocolate covered pretzels = 2 points per bag


Blackstone Merlot = 4 points per glass


Obviously I don't JUST eat these foods, but they are my favorite and I do eat them ALOT...I do like the lean cuisine spaghetti = 5 points as well as the pizza = 6-7pnts. I steam LOTS of veggies thanks to the zip lock zip n'steam bags!!!! I would reccomend them to EVERYBODY. Slice your veggies, put them in the baggie, pop them in the microwave for 3-4 minutes...DONE!

I do frequent McDonalds ALOT! Their Grilled southwest chicken salad is to die for and even with the dressing it is 7 points! Go try it and let me know how you like it. I eat it at least 3x's a week!

I eat lots of chicken, salad, veggies and the above frozen foods. If I go out to eat...I do look to my DWLZ website to see what I can eat based upon how many points I have left for the day.

My workouts consist of 1hr of cardio which is a little over 3 miles 3x's a week. Half a mile of straight running, 1 mile of walking at maxium incline, and 1.5 miles of elliptical. I do pushups, at least 15 minutes of Ab workouts daily as well as standing lunges while holding Colt and walking lunges.

Now for the important part...Colt Catch up! He is now 7 weeks old and 4 days! He is a TANK and eats 6oz every 3 hours except for at night when he sleeps from 11-7ish...eats again, then falls back to sleep until 10ish.

I came home from a workout with Colt's bumbo and play gym set up like this in Blake's office! This definitely was a supervised activity :)

He loves his bumbo chair!

And he's always the cutest baby at church!!

The next few months of weekends are booked with lake trips, trips out of town and a trip to SEATTLE!!!! Finally, the day has come when I'm going to fly by myself for the FIRST time and see my first friend & sister,Kelsey Brooke! I am so excited and can't wait to see her new stomping grounds.

I have SO many memories of hearing about points that this post made me laugh out loud. I just love it! Remember when you convinced me to do it, or I probably did it because you were doing it?! ha.

You are a determined woman that has gotten that baby weight off so quick. Hope you plan on giving me lessons one day ;)

Remember your obsession with Wendy's chili because it was only like three points, but then they found a finger in the chili and you never ate it again ...... Good times!

colt is SO SO SO precious. oh my goodness. so cute. makes me want number 2 :)
