WINE-ding down!

For those of you who don't know...I am a self proclaimed WINE-O...yes, it is true! To my wallet's despair...I can't drink white wine, blush, nor any light bodied red wine! It has to be medium and up...Very red, Very thick and heavy! Oh red wine...how I missed you for 9 months! Needless to say, a few gifts that were brought to us in the hospital happened to be red wine! Thank you friends who know me OH SO WELL! My mother in law had this CUTE personalized wine label made and gave them to family as gifts...so cute Tam! And for those of you wondering if I'll ever drink it...the answer is YES! You can't just not drink it! My plan is to drink it on his first birthday so we'll see and I'll do something clever with the bottle! Misc Mer...do you have any creative ideas?! (http://miscmer.blogspot.com/)

Next up...2 years ago I became envious of those who collect things. I have always wanted to collect something. Not just something that sits on a shelf, but something that I could display and use as well. I came across a cute boutique in Abilene that had Lolita wine glasses! How perfect! Wine glasses! Not just any wine glasses, but hand painted wine glasses that fit perfectly to my personality and different milestones throughout my life. Over 2 years I only have 6, but I have promised myself I won't by any personally. They all have to be gifted to me. So in no particular order...here they are (The pictures DO NOT give them justice. I took them with my phone so I could upload them faster)

"Kind of on a diet" "Cooler by the Lake"

"Fashionista" "New Mommy"

"Leopard" "Ostentatious"

The next Lolita wine glass on my "please give it to me for a gift" list is WILD CHILD! How cute is this wine glass?!!!!!

and...YES of course I use them! They have to be hand washed, but why let them sit in a china cabinet and get no lovin'? I take care of them :)

"Men are like fine wine. They all start out like grapes, and it's our job to stomp on them and keep them in the dark until they mature into something with which you'd like to have dinner with."
